Thank you all for your participation! I will be deliberating for a few days, things are a bit slow as reality is very very hectic. Please pardon the extra wait time. What Is This Contest? I haven't hosted a contest in a long while, so I thought long and hard about what theme I wanted. I could go with the obvious, or I could do something else. I chose the latter. Long time no see...

I went ahead and deleted my previous work.  It was interesting, but not something I really wrote for myself.  It was fun, but part of a challenge. I've been putting up new stuff and my best friend in the whole world is now a fan of mine.  I'm very flattered, because she has rather refined tastes.  Her works are pretty awesome too. Getting a few random favorites is kinda nice.  Really unexpected.  And I didn't expect a poetry group to invite me as a member! They have a contest going.  Childhood.  My childhood isn't something I like to talk about.  It's rather unpleasant, and one of my major problems in life is directly tied to it.  I'm not

(Well, day one where I actually did anything...) So I submitted my first deviant thingy today, and the first response was a guy who took it pretty seriously. XD It was an essay on America and why it's still a growing nation.  Was it an experimental perspective?  Yes.  But this guy kinda beat me up on a technicality.  America encompasses all the nations in North America?  Then wouldn't I refer to it as North America? lol But anyways I'd like to think he responds to my answer and that I've made a new friend.  If not, oh wells.  My little adventure in deviantart has just begun.
